Q:  How long does it take to make a custom piece of jewelry?

A:  On average I like to have a month to complete a project however they can be done faster in cases of emergency.  And yes, there are jewelry emergencies!

Q:  How much does the average custom piece of jewelry cost?

A:  This can be a very tough question to answer.  Every situation is different.  Some customers have existing stones that they want used in their custom piece, this can greatly reduce the price.  That being said, most non-engagement rings with colored stones or diamonds come out around $2000 but can range up to $100,000 or more.  There are also options in the $1000 range.

Q: How does payment work?

A:  I accept checks, cash, credit cards, and PayPal.  When a design and price is agreed upon half of the overall price is due as a down payment before the piece is started.  The remainder is due when the piece is completed but must be made before or upon delivery(depending on customers location).  All large diamonds must be paid for in full upon selection and separate from the rest of the job.

Q:  Does JS Design have access to and supply stones?

A:  Yes, I have access to several vendors of loose colored stones and Diamonds.  I can get anything that you may want and at a competitive price!  I do not carry an inventory of diamonds on hand.
